| וַֽיְהִי֙ הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ שְׁלֹמֹ֔ה מֶ֖לֶךְ עַל־כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ | 1Kgs 4:1 So king Solomon was king over all Israel. |
| וְאֵ֥לֶּה הַשָּׂרִ֖ים אֲשֶׁר־לֹ֑ו עֲזַרְיָ֥הוּ בֶן־צָדֹ֖וק הַכֹּהֵֽן׃ | 1Kgs 4:2 And these were the princes which he had; Azariah the son of Zadok the priest, |
| אֱלִיחֹ֧רֶף וַאֲחִיָּ֛ה בְּנֵ֥י שִׁישָׁ֖א סֹפְרִ֑ים יְהֹושָׁפָ֥ט בֶּן־אֲחִיל֖וּד הַמַּזְכִּֽיר׃ | 1Kgs 4:3 Elihoreph and Ahiah, the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, the recorder. |
| וּבְנָיָ֥הוּ בֶן־יְהֹויָדָ֖ע עַל־הַצָּבָ֑א וְצָדֹ֥וק וְאֶבְיָתָ֖ר כֹּהֲנִֽים׃ | 1Kgs 4:4 And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the host: and Zadok and Abiathar were the priests: |
| וַעֲזַרְיָ֥הוּ בֶן־נָתָ֖ן עַל־הַנִּצָּבִ֑ים וְזָב֧וּד בֶּן־נָתָ֛ן כֹּהֵ֖ן רֵעֶ֥ה הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ | 1Kgs 4:5 And Azariah the son of Nathan was over the officers: and Zabud the son of Nathan was principal officer, and the king's friend: |
| וַאֲחִישָׁ֖ר עַל־הַבָּ֑יִת וַאֲדֹנִירָ֥ם בֶּן־עַבְדָּ֖א עַל־הַמַּֽס׃ | 1Kgs 4:6 And Ahishar was over the household: and Adoniram the son of Abda was over the tribute. |
| וְלִשְׁלֹמֹ֞ה וְלִשְׁלֹמֹ֞ה שְׁנֵים־שְׁנֵים־עָשָׂ֤ר עָשָׂ֤ר נִצָּבִים֙ נִצָּבִים֙ עַל־עַל־כָּל־כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְכִלְכְּל֥וּ וְכִלְכְּל֥וּ אֶת־אֶת־הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ וְאֶת־וְאֶת־בֵּיתֹ֑ו בֵּיתֹ֑ו חֹ֧דֶשׁ חֹ֧דֶשׁ בַּשָּׁנָ֛ה בַּשָּׁנָ֛ה יִהְיֶ֥ה יִהְיֶ֥ה עַל־הָאֶחָ֖ד לְכַלְכֵּֽל׃ הָאֶחָ֖ד לְכַלְכֵּֽל׃ | 1Kgs 4:7 And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, which provided victuals for the king and his household: each man his month in a year made provision. |
| וְאֵ֣לֶּה שְׁמֹותָ֔ם בֶּן־ח֖וּר בְּהַ֥ר אֶפְרָֽיִם׃ | 1Kgs 4:8 And these are their names: The son of Hur, in mount Ephraim: |
| בֶּן־דֶּ֛קֶר בְּמָקַ֥ץ וּבְשַֽׁעַלְבִ֖ים וּבֵ֣ית שָׁ֑מֶשׁ וְאֵילֹ֖ון בֵּ֥ית חָנָֽן׃ | 1Kgs 4:9 The son of Dekar, in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and Bethshemesh, and Elonbethhanan: |
| בֶּן־חֶ֖סֶד בָּֽאֲרֻבֹּ֑ות לֹ֥ו שֹׂכֹ֖ה וְכָל־אֶ֥רֶץ חֵֽפֶר׃ | 1Kgs 4:10 The son of Hesed, in Aruboth; to him pertained Sochoh, and all the land of Hepher: |
| בֶּן־אֲבִֽינָדָ֖ב כָּל־נָ֣פַת דֹּ֑אר טָפַת֙ בַּת־שְׁלֹמֹ֔ה הָ֥יְתָה לֹּ֖ו לְאִשָּֽׁה׃ | 1Kgs 4:11 The son of Abinadab, in all the region of Dor; which had Taphath the daughter of Solomon to wife: |
| בַּֽעֲנָא֙ בֶּן־אֲחִיל֔וּד תַּעְנַ֖ךְ וּמְגִדֹּ֑ו וְכָל־בֵּ֣ית שְׁאָ֡ן אֲשֶׁר֩ אֵ֨צֶל צָרְתַ֜נָה מִתַּ֣חַת לְיִזְרְעֶ֗אל מִבֵּ֤ית שְׁאָן֙ עַ֚ד אָבֵ֣ל מְחֹולָ֔ה עַ֖ד מֵעֵ֥בֶר לְיָקְמֳעָֽם׃ | 1Kgs 4:12 Baana the son of Ahilud; to him pertained Taanach and Megiddo, and all Bethshean, which is by Zartanah beneath Jezreel, from Bethshean to Abelmeholah, even unto the place that is beyond Jokneam: |
| בֶּן־גֶּ֖בֶר בְּרָמֹ֣ת גִּלְעָ֑ד לֹ֡ו חַוֹּת֩ יָאִ֨יר בֶּן־מְנַשֶּׁ֜ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר בַּגִּלְעָ֗ד לֹ֚ו חֶ֤בֶל אַרְגֹּב֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בַּבָּשָׁ֔ן שִׁשִּׁים֙ עָרִ֣ים גְּדֹלֹ֔ות חֹומָ֖ה וּבְרִ֥יחַ נְחֹֽשֶׁת׃ | 1Kgs 4:13 The son of Geber, in Ramothgilead; to him pertained the towns of Jair the son of Manasseh, which are in Gilead; to him also pertained the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, threescore great cities with walls and brasen bars: |

| אֲחִימַ֖עַץ בְּנַפְתָּלִ֑י גַּם־ה֗וּא לָקַ֛ח אֶת־בָּשְׂמַ֥ת בַּת־שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה לְאִשָּֽׁה׃ | 1Kgs 4:15 Ahimaaz was in Naphtali; he also took Basmath the daughter of Solomon to wife: |
| בַּֽעֲנָא֙ בֶּן־חוּשָׁ֔י בְּאָשֵׁ֖ר וּבְעָלֹֽות׃ | 1Kgs 4:16 Baanah the son of Hushai was in Asher and in Aloth: |

| יְהוּדָ֤ה וְיִשְׂרָאֵל֙ רַבִּ֔ים כַּחֹ֥ול אֲשֶׁר־עַל־הַיָּ֖ם לָרֹ֑ב אֹכְלִ֥ים וְשֹׁתִ֖ים וּשְׂמֵחִֽים׃ | 1Kgs 4:20 Judah and Israel were many, as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking, and making merry. |
