| וֽיהי֙ המ֣לך שלמ֔ה מ֖לך על־כל־ישראֽל׃ | 1Kgs 4:1 So king Solomon was king over all Israel. |
| וא֥לה השר֖ים אשר־ל֑ו עזרי֥הו בן־צד֖וק הכהֽן׃ | 1Kgs 4:2 And these were the princes which he had; Azariah the son of Zadok the priest, |
| אליח֧רף ואחי֛ה בנ֥י שיש֖א ספר֑ים יהושפ֥ט בן־אחיל֖וד המזכֽיר׃ | 1Kgs 4:3 Elihoreph and Ahiah, the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, the recorder. |
| ובני֥הו בן־יהויד֖ע על־הצב֑א וצד֥וק ואבית֖ר כהנֽים׃ | 1Kgs 4:4 And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the host: and Zadok and Abiathar were the priests: |
| ועזרי֥הו בן־נת֖ן על־הנצב֑ים וזב֧וד בן־נת֛ן כה֖ן רע֥ה המֽלך׃ | 1Kgs 4:5 And Azariah the son of Nathan was over the officers: and Zabud the son of Nathan was principal officer, and the king's friend: |
| ואחיש֖ר על־הב֑ית ואדניר֥ם בן־עבד֖א על־המֽס׃ | 1Kgs 4:6 And Ahishar was over the household: and Adoniram the son of Abda was over the tribute. |
| ולשלמ֞ה ולשלמ֞ה שנים־שנים־עש֤ר עש֤ר נצבים֙ נצבים֙ על־על־כל־כל־ישרא֔ל ישרא֔ל וכלכל֥ו וכלכל֥ו את־את־המ֖לך המ֖לך ואת־ואת־בית֑ו בית֑ו ח֧דש ח֧דש בשנ֛ה בשנ֛ה יהי֥ה יהי֥ה על־האח֖ד לכלכֽל׃ האח֖ד לכלכֽל׃ | 1Kgs 4:7 And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, which provided victuals for the king and his household: each man his month in a year made provision. |
| וא֣לה שמות֔ם בן־ח֖ור בה֥ר אפרֽים׃ | 1Kgs 4:8 And these are their names: The son of Hur, in mount Ephraim: |
| בן־ד֛קר במק֥ץ ובשֽעלב֖ים וב֣ית ש֑מש ואיל֖ון ב֥ית חנֽן׃ | 1Kgs 4:9 The son of Dekar, in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and Bethshemesh, and Elonbethhanan: |
| בן־ח֖סד בֽארב֑ות ל֥ו שכ֖ה וכל־א֥רץ חֽפר׃ | 1Kgs 4:10 The son of Hesed, in Aruboth; to him pertained Sochoh, and all the land of Hepher: |
| בן־אבֽינד֖ב כל־נ֣פת ד֑אר טפת֙ בת־שלמ֔ה ה֥יתה ל֖ו לאשֽה׃ | 1Kgs 4:11 The son of Abinadab, in all the region of Dor; which had Taphath the daughter of Solomon to wife: |
| בֽענא֙ בן־אחיל֔וד תענ֖ך ומגד֑ו וכל־ב֣ית שא֡ן אשר֩ א֨צל צרת֜נה מת֣חת ליזרע֗אל מב֤ית שאן֙ ע֚ד אב֣ל מחול֔ה ע֖ד מע֥בר ליקמעֽם׃ | 1Kgs 4:12 Baana the son of Ahilud; to him pertained Taanach and Megiddo, and all Bethshean, which is by Zartanah beneath Jezreel, from Bethshean to Abelmeholah, even unto the place that is beyond Jokneam: |
| בן־ג֖בר ברמ֣ת גלע֑ד ל֡ו חות֩ יא֨יר בן־מנש֜ה אש֣ר בגלע֗ד ל֚ו ח֤בל ארגב֙ אש֣ר בבש֔ן ששים֙ ער֣ים גדל֔ות חומ֖ה ובר֥יח נחֽשת׃ | 1Kgs 4:13 The son of Geber, in Ramothgilead; to him pertained the towns of Jair the son of Manasseh, which are in Gilead; to him also pertained the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, threescore great cities with walls and brasen bars: |

| אחימ֖עץ בנפתל֑י גם־ה֗וא לק֛ח את־בשמ֥ת בת־שלמ֖ה לאשֽה׃ | 1Kgs 4:15 Ahimaaz was in Naphtali; he also took Basmath the daughter of Solomon to wife: |
| בֽענא֙ בן־חוש֔י באש֖ר ובעלֽות׃ | 1Kgs 4:16 Baanah the son of Hushai was in Asher and in Aloth: |
| יהושפ֥ט בן־פר֖וח ביששכֽר׃ | 1Kgs 4:17 Jehoshaphat the son of Paruah, in Issachar: |
| שמע֥י בן־אל֖א בבנימֽן׃ | 1Kgs 4:18 Shimei the son of Elah, in Benjamin: |
| ג֥בר בן־אר֖י בא֣רץ גלע֑ד א֜רץ סיח֣ון׀ מ֣לך האמר֗י ועג֙ מ֣לך הבש֔ן ונצ֥יב אח֖ד אש֥ר באֽרץ׃ | 1Kgs 4:19 Geber the son of Uri was in the country of Gilead, in the country of Sihon king of the Amorites, and of Og king of Bashan; and he was the only officer which was in the land. |
| יהוד֤ה וישראל֙ רב֔ים כח֥ול אשר־על־הי֖ם לר֑ב אכל֥ים ושת֖ים ושמחֽים׃ | 1Kgs 4:20 Judah and Israel were many, as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking, and making merry. |
