Exod 9:1 Then the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

kî ’im-mā’ēn ’attāh ləšallēaḥ wə‘ôḏəḵā maḥăzîq bām

Exod 9:2 For if thou refuse to let them go, and wilt hold them still,

hinnēh yaḏ-yəhwāh hôyāh bəmiqənəḵā ’ăšer baśśāḏeh bassûsîm baḥămōrîm baggəmallîm babbāqār ûḇaṣṣō’n deḇer kāḇēḏ mə’ōḏ

Exod 9:3 Behold, the hand of the LORD is upon thy cattle which is in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the oxen, and upon the sheep: there shall be a very grievous murrain.

wəhip̱əlāh yəhwāh bên miqənēh yiśərā’ēl ûḇên miqənēh miṣərāyim wəlō’ yāmûṯ mikkāl-liḇənê yiśərā’ēl dāḇār

Exod 9:4 And the LORD shall sever between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt: and there shall nothing die of all that is the children's of Israel.

wayyāśem yəhwāh mô‘ēḏ lē’mōr māḥār ya‘ăśeh yəhwāh haddāḇār hazzeh bā’āreṣ

Exod 9:5 And the LORD appointed a set time, saying, To morrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land.

wayya‘aś yəhwāh ’eṯ-haddāḇār hazzeh mimmāḥŏrāṯ wayyāmāṯ kōl miqənēh miṣərāyim ûmimmiqənēh ḇənê-yiśərā’ēl lō’-mēṯ ’eḥāḏ

Exod 9:6 And the LORD did that thing on the morrow, and all the cattle of Egypt died: but of the cattle of the children of Israel died not one.

wayyišəlaḥ parə‘ōh wəhinnēh lō’-mēṯ mimmiqənēh yiśərā’ēl ‘aḏ-’eḥāḏ wayyiḵəbaḏ lēḇ parə‘ōh wəlō’ šillaḥ ’eṯ-hā‘ām

Exod 9:7 And Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not one of the cattle of the Israelites dead. And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not let the people go.

wayyō’mer yəhwāh ’el-mōšeh wə’el-’ahărōn qəḥû lāḵem məlō’ ḥāp̱ənêḵem pîaḥ kiḇəšān ûzərāqô mōšeh haššāmayəmāh lə‘ênê p̱arə‘ōh

Exod 9:8 And the LORD said unto Moses and unto Aaron, Take to you handfuls of ashes of the furnace, and let Moses sprinkle it toward the heaven in the sight of Pharaoh.

wəhāyāh lə’āḇāq ‘al kāl-’ereṣ miṣərāyim wəhāyāh ‘al-hā’āḏām wə‘al-habbəhēmāh lišəḥîn pōrēaḥ ’ăḇa‘əbu‘ōṯ bəḵāl-’ereṣ miṣərāyim

Exod 9:9 And it shall become small dust in all the land of Egypt, and shall be a boil breaking forth with blains upon man, and upon beast, throughout all the land of Egypt.

wayyiqəḥû ’eṯ-pîaḥ hakkiḇəšān wayya‘aməḏû lip̱ənê p̱arə‘ōh wayyizərōq ’ōṯô mōšeh haššāmāyəmāh wayəhî šəḥîn ’ăḇa‘əbu‘ōṯ pōrēaḥ bā’āḏām ûḇabbəhēmāh

Exod 9:10 And they took ashes of the furnace, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses sprinkled it up toward heaven; and it became a boil breaking forth with blains upon man, and upon beast.

wəlō’-yāḵəlû haḥarəṭummîm la‘ămōḏ lip̱ənê mōšeh mippənê haššəḥîn kî-hāyāh haššəḥîn baḥărəṭummim ûḇəḵāl-miṣərāyim

Exod 9:11 And the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils; for the boil was upon the magicians, and upon all the Egyptians.

wayəḥazzēq yəhwāh ’eṯ-lēḇ parə‘ōh wəlō’ šāma‘ ’ălēhem ka’ăšer dibber yəhwāh ’el-mōšeh

Exod 9:12 And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had spoken unto Moses.

wayyō’mer yəhwāh ’el-mōšeh hašəkēm babbōqer wəhiṯəyaṣṣēḇ lip̱ənê p̱arə‘ōh wə’āmarətā ’ēlāyw kōh-’āmar yəhwāh ’ĕlōhê hā‘iḇərîm šallaḥ ’eṯ-‘ammî wəya‘aḇəḏunî

Exod 9:13 And the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

kî bappa‘am hazzō’ṯ ’ănî šōlēaḥ ’eṯ-kāl-maggēp̱ōṯay ’el-libbəḵā ûḇa‘ăḇāḏeyḵā ûḇə‘ammeḵā ba‘ăḇûr tēḏa‘ kî ’ên kāmōnî bəḵāl-hā’āreṣ

Exod 9:14 For I will at this time send all my plagues upon thine heart, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people; that thou mayest know that there is none like me in all the earth.

kî ‘attāh šālaḥətî ’eṯ-yāḏî wā’aḵ ’ôṯəḵā wə’eṯ-‘amməḵā baddāḇer wattikkāḥēḏ min-hā’āreṣ

Exod 9:15 For now I will stretch out my hand, that I may smite thee and thy people with pestilence; and thou shalt be cut off from the earth.

wə’ûlām ba‘ăḇûr zō’ṯ he‘ĕmaḏətîḵā ba‘ăḇûr harə’ōṯəḵā ’eṯ-kōḥî ûləma‘an sappēr šəmî bəḵāl-hā’āreṣ

Exod 9:16 And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.

‘ôḏəḵā misətôlēl bə‘ammî ləḇilətî šalləḥām

Exod 9:17 As yet exaltest thou thyself against my people, that thou wilt not let them go?

hinənî maməṭîr kā‘ēṯ māḥār bārāḏ kāḇēḏ mə’ōḏ ’ăšer lō’-hāyāh ḵāmōhû bəmiṣərayim ləmin-hayyôm hiwwāsəḏāh wə‘aḏ-‘āttāh

Exod 9:18 Behold, to morrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as hath not been in Egypt since the foundation thereof even until now.

wə‘attāh šəlaḥ hā‘ēz ’eṯ-miqənəḵā wə’ēṯ kāl-’ăšer ləḵā baśśāḏeh kāl-hā’āḏām wəhabbəhēmāh ’ăšer-yimmāṣē’ ḇaśśāḏeh wəlō’ yē’āsēp̱ habbayəṯāh wəyāraḏ ‘ălēhem habbārāḏ wāmēṯû

Exod 9:19 Send therefore now, and gather thy cattle, and all that thou hast in the field; for upon every man and beast which shall be found in the field, and shall not be brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die.

hayyārē’ ’eṯ-dəḇar yəhwāh mē‘aḇəḏê parə‘ōh hēnîs ’eṯ-‘ăḇāḏāyw wə’eṯ-miqənēhû ’el-habbāttîm

Exod 9:20 He that feared the word of the LORD among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses:

wa’ăšer lō’-śām libbô ’el-dəḇar yəhwāh wayya‘ăzōḇ ’eṯ-‘ăḇāḏāyw wə’eṯ-miqənēhû baśśāḏeh

Exod 9:21 And he that regarded not the word of the LORD left his servants and his cattle in the field.

wayyō’mer wayyō’mer yəhwāh yəhwāh nəṭēh ’el-mōšeh ’eṯ-yāḏəḵā nəṭēh ‘al-’eṯ-yāḏəḵā haššāmayim wîhî ‘al-ḇārāḏ haššāmayim wîhî bəḵāl-ḇārāḏ ’ereṣ bəḵāl-miṣərāyim ‘al-’ereṣ hā’āḏām miṣərāyim ‘al-wə‘al-habbəhēmāh hā’āḏām wə‘al wə‘al-kāl-habbəhēmāh wə‘al ‘ēśeḇ kāl-haśśāḏeh ‘ēśeḇ bə’ereṣ haśśāḏeh miṣərāyim bə’ereṣ miṣərāyim

Exod 9:22 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch forth thine hand toward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man, and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.

wayyēṭ mōšeh ’eṯ-maṭṭēhû ‘al-haššāmayim wayhwāh nāṯan qōlōṯ ûḇārāḏ wattihălaḵ ’ēš ’ārəṣāh wayyaməṭēr yəhwāh bārāḏ ‘al-’ereṣ miṣərāyim

Exod 9:23 And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt.

wayəhî ḇārāḏ wə’ēš miṯəlaqqaḥaṯ bəṯôḵ habbārāḏ kāḇēḏ mə’ōḏ ’ăšer lō’-hāyāh ḵāmōhû bəḵāl-’ereṣ miṣərayim mē’āz hāyəṯāh ləg̱ôy

Exod 9:24 So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.

wayyaḵ habbārāḏ bəḵāl-’ereṣ miṣərayim ’ēṯ kāl-’ăšer baśśāḏeh mē’āḏām wə‘aḏ-bəhēmāh wə’ēṯ kāl-‘ēśeḇ haśśāḏeh hikkāh habbārāḏ wə’eṯ-kāl-‘ēṣ haśśāḏeh šibbēr

Exod 9:25 And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the field.

raq bə’ereṣ gōšen ’ăšer-šām bənê yiśərā’ēl lō’ hāyāh bārāḏ

Exod 9:26 Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, was there no hail.

wayyišəlaḥ parə‘ōh wayyiqərā’ ləmōšeh ûlə’ahărōn wayyō’mer ’ălēhem ḥāṭā’ṯî happā‘am yəhwāh haṣṣaddîq wa’ănî wə‘ammî hārəšā‘îm

Exod 9:27 And Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said unto them, I have sinned this time: the LORD is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.

ha‘ətîrû ’el-yəhwāh wəraḇ mihəyōṯ qōlōṯ ’ĕlōhîm ûḇārāḏ wa’ăšalləḥāh ’eṯəḵem wəlō’ ṯōsip̱ûn la‘ămōḏ

Exod 9:28 Intreat the LORD (for it is enough) that there be no more mighty thunderings and hail; and I will let you go, and ye shall stay no longer.

wayyō’mer ’ēlāyw mōšeh kəṣē’ṯî ’eṯ-hā‘îr ’ep̱ərōś ’eṯ-kappay ’el-yəhwāh haqqōlôṯ yeḥədālûn wəhabbārāḏ lō’ yihəyeh-‘ôḏ ləma‘an tēḏa‘ kî layhwāh hā’āreṣ

Exod 9:29 And Moses said unto him, As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands unto the LORD; and the thunder shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that thou mayest know how that the earth is the LORD's.

wə’attāh wa‘ăḇāḏeyḵā yāḏa‘ətî kî ṭerem tîrə’ûn mippənê yəhwāh ’ĕlōhîm

Exod 9:30 But as for thee and thy servants, I know that ye will not yet fear the LORD God.

wəhappišətāh wəhaśśə‘ōrāh nukkāṯāh kî haśśə‘ōrāh ’āḇîḇ wəhappišətāh giḇə‘ōl

Exod 9:31 And the flax and the barley was smitten: for the barley was in the ear, and the flax was bolled.

wəhaḥiṭṭāh wəhakkussemeṯ lō’ nukkû kî ’ăp̱îlōṯ hēnnāh

Exod 9:32 But the wheat and the rie were not smitten: for they were not grown up.

wayyēṣē’ mōšeh mē‘im parə‘ōh ’eṯ-hā‘îr wayyip̱ərōś kappāyw ’el-yəhwāh wayyaḥədəlû haqqōlôṯ wəhabbārāḏ ûmāṭār lō’-nittaḵ ’ārəṣāh

Exod 9:33 And Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and spread abroad his hands unto the LORD: and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured upon the earth.

wayyarə’ parə‘ōh kî-ḥāḏal hammāṭār wəhabbārāḏ wəhaqqōlōṯ wayyōsep̱ laḥăṭō’ wayyaḵəbēḏ libbô hû’ wa‘ăḇāḏāyw

Exod 9:34 And when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders were ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants.

wayyeḥĕzaq lēḇ parə‘ōh wəlō’ šillaḥ ’eṯ-bənê yiśərā’ēl ka’ăšer dibber yəhwāh bəyaḏ-mōšeh

Exod 9:35 And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, neither would he let the children of Israel go; as the LORD had spoken by Moses.
