wəšabbēaḥ ’ănî ’eṯ-hammēṯîm šekkəḇār mēṯû min-haḥayyîm ’ăšer hēmmāh ḥayyîm ‘ăḏenāh Qoh 4:2 Wherefore I praised the dead which are already dead more than the living which are yet alive.

hakkəsîl ḥōḇēq ’eṯ-yāḏāyw wə’ōḵēl ’eṯ-bəśārô Qoh 4:5 The fool foldeth his hands together, and eateth his own flesh.

wəšaḇətî ’ănî wā’erə’eh heḇel taḥaṯ haššāmeš Qoh 4:7 Then I returned, and I saw vanity under the sun.

This is also vanity, yea, it is a sore travail.
ṭôḇîm haššənayim min-hā’eḥāḏ ’ăšer yēš-lāhem śāḵār ṭôḇ ba‘ămālām Qoh 4:9 Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.

Surely this also is vanity and vexation of spirit.
