wə’ēlleh habbā’îm ’el-dāwîḏ ləṣîqəlag̱ ‘ôḏ ‘āṣûr mippənê šā’ûl ben-qîš wəhēmmāh baggibbôrîm ‘ōzərê hammiləḥāmāh 1Chr 12:1 Now these are they that came to David to Ziklag, while he yet kept himself close because of Saul the son of Kish: and they were among the mighty men, helpers of the war.
nōšəqê qešeṯ mayəmînîm ûmaśəmi’lîm bā’ăḇānîm ûḇaḥiṣṣîm baqqāšeṯ mē’ăḥê šā’ûl mibbinəyāmin 1Chr 12:2 They were armed with bows, and could use both the right hand and the left in hurling stones and shooting arrows out of a bow, even of Saul's brethren of Benjamin.
hārō’š ’ăḥî‘ezer wəyô’āš bənê haššəmā‘āh haggiḇə‘āṯî wîzî’ēl wāp̱eleṭ bənê ‘azəmāweṯ ûḇərāḵāh wəyēhû’ hā‘ănnəṯōṯî 1Chr 12:3 The chief was Ahiezer, then Joash, the sons of Shemaah the Gibeathite; and Jeziel, and Pelet, the sons of Azmaveth; and Berachah, and Jehu the Antothite.
wəyišəma‘əyāh haggiḇə‘ônî gibbôr baššəlōšîm wə‘al-haššəlōšîm 1Chr 12:4 And Ismaiah the Gibeonite, a mighty man among the thirty, and over the thirty; and Jeremiah, and Jahaziel, and Johanan, and Josabad the Gederathite,
wəyirəməyāh wəyaḥăzî’ēl wəyôḥānān wəyôzāḇāḏ haggəḏērāṯî 1Chr :
’elə‘ûzay wîrîmôṯ ûḇə‘aləyāh ûšəmarəyāhû ûšəp̱aṭəyāhû haḥărûp̱î 1Chr 12:6 [KJV 12:5] Eluzai, and Jerimoth, and Bealiah, and Shemariah, and Shephatiah the Haruphite,
’eləqānāh wəyiššiyyāhû wa‘ăzarə’ēl wəyô‘ezer wəyāšāḇə‘ām haqqārəḥîm 1Chr 12:7 [KJV 12:6] Elkanah, and Jesiah, and Azareel, and Joezer, and Jashobeam, the Korhites,
wəyô‘ē’lāh ûzəḇaḏəyāh bənê yərōḥām min-haggəḏôr 1Chr 12:8 [KJV 12:7] And Joelah, and Zebadiah, the sons of Jeroham of Gedor.
ûmin-haggāḏî niḇədəlû ’el-dāwîḏ laməṣaḏ miḏəbārāh gibbōrê haḥayil ’anəšê ṣāḇā’ lammiləḥāmāh ‘ōrəḵê ṣinnāh wārōmaḥ ûp̱ənê ’arəyēh pənêhem wəḵiṣəḇā’yim ‘al-hehārîm ləmahēr 1Chr 12:9 [KJV 12:8] And of the Gadites there separated themselves unto David into the hold to the wilderness men of might, and men of war fit for the battle, that could handle shield and buckler, whose faces were like the faces of lions, and were as swift as the roes upon the mountains;
‘ēzer hārō’š ‘ōḇaḏəyāh haššēnî ’ĕlî’āḇ haššəlišî 1Chr 12:10 [KJV 12:9] Ezer the first, Obadiah the second, Eliab the third,
mišəmannāh hārəḇî‘î yirəməyāh haḥămišî 1Chr 12:11 [KJV 12:10] Mishmannah the fourth, Jeremiah the fifth,
‘attay haššiššî ’ĕlî’ēl haššəḇi‘î 1Chr 12:12 [KJV 12:11] Attai the sixth, Eliel the seventh,
yôḥānān haššəmînî ’eləzāḇāḏ hattəšî‘î 1Chr 12:13 [KJV 12:12] Johanan the eighth, Elzabad the ninth,
yirəməyāhû hā‘ăśîrî maḵəbannay ‘ašətê ‘āśār 1Chr 12:14 [KJV 12:13] Jeremiah the tenth, Machbanai the eleventh.
’ēlleh mibbənê-g̱āḏ rā’šê haṣṣāḇā’ ’eḥāḏ ləmē’āh haqqāṭān wəhaggāḏôl lə’ālep̱ 1Chr 12:15 [KJV 12:14] These were of the sons of Gad, captains of the host: one of the least was over an hundred, and the greatest over a thousand.
’ēlleh ’ēlleh hēm hēm ’ăšer ’ăšer ‘āḇərû ‘āḇərû ’eṯ-’eṯ-hayyarədēn hayyarədēn baḥōḏeš baḥōḏeš hāri’šôn hāri’šôn wəhû’ wəhû’ məmallē’ məmallē’ ‘al-gəḏôṯāyw wayyaḇərîḥû kāl-’eṯ-gəḏôṯāyw kāl-wayyaḇərîḥû hā‘ămāqîm ’eṯ-lammizərāḥ kāl-wəlamma‘ărāḇ hā‘ămāqîm lammizərāḥ wəlamma‘ărāḇ 1Chr 12:16 [KJV 12:15] These are they that went over Jordan in the first month, when it had overflown all his banks; and they put to flight all them of the valleys, both toward the east, and toward the west.
wayyāḇō’û min-bənê ḇinəyāmin wîhûḏāh ‘aḏ-laməṣāḏ ləḏāwîḏ 1Chr 12:17 [KJV 12:16] And there came of the children of Benjamin and Judah to the hold unto David.
wayyēṣē’ ḏāwîḏ lip̱ənêhem wayya‘an wayyō’mer lāhem ’im-ləšālôm bā’ṯem ’ēlay lə‘āzərēnî yihəyeh-llî ‘ălêḵem lēḇāḇ ləyāḥaḏ wə’im-lərammôṯanî ləṣāray bəlō’ ḥāmās bəḵappay yēre’ ’ĕlōhê ’ăḇôṯênû wəyôḵaḥ 1Chr 12:18 [KJV 12:17] And David went out to meet them, and answered and said unto them, If ye be come peaceably unto me to help me, mine heart shall be knit unto you: but if ye be come to betray me to mine enemies, seeing there is no wrong in mine hands, the God of our fathers look thereon, and rebuke it.
wərûaḥ lāḇəšāh ’eṯ-‘ămāśay rō’š haššālîšîm ləḵā ḏāwîḏ wə‘imməḵā ḇen-yišay šālôm šālôm ləḵā wəšālôm lə‘ōzəreḵā ‘ăzārəḵā ’ĕlōheyḵā wayəqabbəlēm dāwîḏ wayyittənēm bərā’šê haggəḏûḏ 1Chr 12:19 [KJV 12:18] Then the spirit came upon Amasai, who was chief of the captains, and he said, Thine are we, David, and on thy side, thou son of Jesse: peace, peace be unto thee, and peace be to thine helpers; for thy God helpeth thee. Then David received them, and made them captains of the band.
ûmimmənaššeh nāp̱əlû ‘al-dāwîḏ bəḇō’ô ‘im-pəlišətîm ‘al-šā’ûl lammiləḥāmāh wəlō’ ‘ăzārum ḇə‘ēṣāh šilləḥuhû sarənê p̱əlišətîm lē’mōr bərā’šênû yippôl ’el-’ăḏōnāyw šā’ûl 1Chr 12:20 [KJV 12:19] And there fell some of Manasseh to David, when he came with the Philistines against Saul to battle: but they helped them not: for the lords of the Philistines upon advisement sent him away, saying, He will fall to his master Saul to the jeopardy of our heads.
bəleḵətô ’el-ṣîqəlag̱ nāp̱əlû ‘ālāyw mimmənaššeh ‘aḏənaḥ wəyôzāḇāḏ wîḏî‘ă’ēl ûmîḵā’ēl wəyôzāḇāḏ we’ĕlîhû’ wəṣilləṯāy rā’šê hā’ălāp̱îm ’ăšer limənaššeh 1Chr 12:21 [KJV 12:20] As he went to Ziklag, there fell to him of Manasseh, Adnah, and Jozabad, and Jediael, and Michael, and Jozabad, and Elihu, and Zilthai, captains of the thousands that were of Manasseh.
wəhēmmāh ‘āzərû ‘im-dāwîḏ ‘al-haggəḏûḏ kî-g̱ibbôrê ḥayil kullām wayyihəyû śārîm baṣṣāḇā’ 1Chr 12:22 [KJV 12:21] And they helped David against the band of the rovers: for they were all mighty men of valour, and were captains in the host.
lə‘eṯ-yôm bəyôm yāḇō’û ‘al-dāwîḏ lə‘āzərô ‘aḏ-ləmaḥăneh g̱āḏôl kəmaḥănēh ’ĕlōhîm 1Chr 12:23 [KJV 12:22] For at that time day by day there came to David to help him, until it was a great host, like the host of God.
wə’ēlleh misəpərê rā’šê heḥālûṣ laṣṣāḇā’ bā’û ‘al-dāwîḏ ḥeḇərônāh ləhāsēḇ maləḵûṯ šā’ûl ’ēlāyw kəp̱î yəhwāh 1Chr 12:24 [KJV 12:23] And these are the numbers of the bands that were ready armed to the war, and came to David to Hebron, to turn the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the word of the LORD.
bənê yəhûḏāh nōśə’ê ṣinnāh wārōmaḥ šēšeṯ ’ălāp̱îm ûšəmôneh mē’ôṯ ḥălûṣê ṣāḇā’ 1Chr 12:25 [KJV 12:24] The children of Judah that bare shield and spear were six thousand and eight hundred, ready armed to the war.
min-bənê šimə‘ôn gibbôrê ḥayil laṣṣāḇā’ šiḇə‘aṯ ’ălāp̱îm ûmē’āh 1Chr 12:26 [KJV 12:25] Of the children of Simeon, mighty men of valour for the war, seven thousand and one hundred.
min-bənê hallēwî ’arəba‘aṯ ’ălāp̱îm wəšēš mē’ôṯ 1Chr 12:27 [KJV 12:26] Of the children of Levi four thousand and six hundred.
wîhôyāḏā‘ hannāg̱îḏ lə’ahărōn wə‘immô šəlōšeṯ ’ălāp̱îm ûšəḇa‘ mē’ôṯ 1Chr 12:28 [KJV 12:27] And Jehoiada was the leader of the Aaronites, and with him were three thousand and seven hundred;
wəṣāḏôq na‘ar gibbôr ḥāyil ûḇêṯ-’āḇîw śārîm ‘eśərîm ûšənāyim 1Chr 12:29 [KJV 12:28] And Zadok, a young man mighty of valour, and of his father's house twenty and two captains.
ûmin-bənê ḇinəyāmin ’ăḥê šā’ûl šəlōšeṯ ’ălāp̱îm wə‘aḏ-hēnnāh marəbîṯām šōmərîm mišəmereṯ bêṯ šā’ûl 1Chr 12:30 [KJV 12:29] And of the children of Benjamin, the kindred of Saul, three thousand: for hitherto the greatest part of them had kept the ward of the house of Saul.
ûmin-bənê ’ep̱ərayim ‘eśərîm ’elep̱ ûšəmôneh mē’ôṯ gibbôrê ḥayil ’anəšê šēmôṯ ləḇêṯ ’ăḇôṯām 1Chr 12:31 [KJV 12:30] And of the children of Ephraim twenty thousand and eight hundred, mighty men of valour, famous throughout the house of their fathers.
ûmēḥăṣî maṭṭēh mənaššeh šəmônāh ‘āśār ’ālep̱ ’ăšer niqqəḇû bəšēmôṯ lāḇô’ ləhaməlîḵ ’eṯ-dāwîḏ 1Chr 12:32 [KJV 12:31] And of the half tribe of Manasseh eighteen thousand, which were expressed by name, to come and make David king.
ûmibbənê yiśśāśār yôḏə‘ê ḇînāh la‘ittîm lāḏa‘aṯ mah-yya‘ăśeh yiśərā’ēl rā’šêhem mā’ṯayim wəḵāl-’ăḥêhem ‘al-pîhem 1Chr 12:33 [KJV 12:32] And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.
mizzəḇulûn yôṣə’ê ṣāḇā’ ‘ōrəḵê miləḥāmāh bəḵāl-kəlê miləḥāmāh ḥămiššîm ’ālep̱ wəla‘ăḏōr bəlō’-lēḇ wālēḇ 1Chr 12:34 [KJV 12:33] Of Zebulun, such as went forth to battle, expert in war, with all instruments of war, fifty thousand, which could keep rank: they were not of double heart.
ûminnap̱ətālî śārîm ’ālep̱ wə‘immāhem bəṣinnāh waḥănîṯ šəlōšîm wəšiḇə‘āh ’ālep̱ 1Chr 12:35 [KJV 12:34] And of Naphtali a thousand captains, and with them with shield and spear thirty and seven thousand.
ûmin-haddānî ‘ōrəḵê miləḥāmāh ‘eśərîm-ûšəmônāh ’elep̱ wəšēš mē’ôṯ 1Chr 12:36 [KJV 12:35] And of the Danites expert in war twenty and eight thousand and six hundred.
ûmē’āšēr yôṣə’ê ṣāḇā’ la‘ărōḵ miləḥāmāh ’arəbā‘îm ’ālep̱ 1Chr 12:37 [KJV 12:36] And of Asher, such as went forth to battle, expert in war, forty thousand.
ûmē‘ēḇer layyarədēn min-hār’ûḇēnî wəhaggāḏî waḥăṣî šēḇeṭ mənaššeh bəḵōl kəlê ṣəḇā’ miləḥāmāh mē’āh wə‘eśərîm ’ālep̱ 1Chr 12:38 [KJV 12:37] And on the other side of Jordan, of the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and of the half tribe of Manasseh, with all manner of instruments of war for the battle, an hundred and twenty thousand.
kāl-’ēlleh ’anəšê miləḥāmāh ‘ōḏərê ma‘ărāḵāh bəlēḇāḇ šālēm bā’û ḥeḇərônāh ləhaməlîḵ ’eṯ-dāwîḏ ‘al-kāl-yiśərā’ēl wəg̱am kāl-šērîṯ yiśərā’ēl lēḇ ’eḥāḏ ləhaməlîḵ ’eṯ-dāwîḏ 1Chr 12:39 [KJV 12:38] All these men of war, that could keep rank, came with a perfect heart to Hebron, to make David king over all Israel: and all the rest also of Israel were of one heart to make David king.
wayyihəyû-šām ‘im-dāwîḏ yāmîm šəlôšāh ’ōḵəlîm wəšôṯîm kî-hēḵînû lāhem ’ăḥêhem 1Chr 12:40 [KJV 12:39] And there they were with David three days, eating and drinking: for their brethren had prepared for them.
wəg̱am haqqərôḇîm-’ălêhem ‘aḏ-yiśāśār ûzəḇulûn wənap̱ətālî məḇî’îm leḥem baḥămôrîm ûḇaggəmallîm ûḇappərāḏîm ûḇabbāqār ma’ăḵāl qemaḥ dəḇēlîm wəṣimmûqîm wəyayin-wəšemen ûḇāqār wəṣō’n lārōḇ śiməḥāh bəyiśərā’ēl 1Chr 12:41 [KJV 12:40] Moreover they that were nigh them, even unto Issachar and Zebulun and Naphtali, brought bread on asses, and on camels, and on mules, and on oxen, and meat, meal, cakes of figs, and bunches of raisins, and wine, and oil, and oxen, and sheep abundantly: for there was joy in Israel.
