| wayəhî ka’ăšer zāqēn šəmû’ēl wayyāśem ’eṯ-bānāyw šōp̱əṭîm ləyiśərā’ēl | 1Sam 8:1 And it came to pass, when Samuel was old, that he made his sons judges over Israel. |
