| וְעָֽבְרוּ֙ גֹּויִ֣ם רַבִּ֔ים עַ֖ל הָעִ֣יר הַזֹּ֑את וְאָֽמְרוּ֙ אִ֣ישׁ אֶל־רֵעֵ֔הוּ עַל־מֶ֨ה עָשָׂ֤ה יְהוָה֙ כָּ֔כָה לָעִ֥יר הַגְּדֹולָ֖ה הַזֹּֽאת׃ | Jer 22:8 And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbour, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this great city? |
| כִּ֗י בִּמְקֹ֛ום אֲשֶׁר־הִגְל֥וּ אֹתֹ֖ו שָׁ֣ם יָמ֑וּת וְאֶת־הָאָ֥רֶץ הַזֹּ֖את לֹֽא־יִרְאֶ֥ה עֹֽוד׃ | Jer 22:12 But he shall die in the place whither they have led him captive, and shall see this land no more. |
